Skid row is full of outcasts with shattered dreams. But a glimmer of hope appears when loser Seymour Krelborn discovers a mysterious plant that becomes the talk of the town. Now a local celebrity, Seymour’s luck is changing. His ditzy crush Audrey is showing interest in him, Mr. Mushnik is ready to adopt him, and the money is pouring in. Little does Seymour know that the plant that changed his life is actually a trash-talking alien with plans for world domination.
Experience this cult classic in an intimate setting within chomping distance of musical theater’s favorite man-eater. And, even though you may be tempted, DON’T FEED THE PLANTS! This smart revival brings new energy to a show that has kept theatergoers laughing, howling, and out of the garden for more than three decades.
Featuring a book and lyrics by Oscar and Grammy Award winner Howard Ashman (The Little Mermaid), and music by Oscar and Tony winner Alan Menken (Aladdin).
